Good-Writes - By Writers, For Writers

Good-Writes grew from local writing groups, to provide a platform for writers to showcase their work to both the writing community and the general public. Good-writes Writing Contests offer publication in a commercially available anthology as their main incentive but there is also a cash prize for the winning entry.

The 2023/24 contest is for poetry but future anthologies will include short stories, flash and micro-fiction as well as short form non-fiction.

This is a unique opportunity for writers of all backgrounds and skill levels to  gain exposure through our writing contests and publications, with writers of shortlisted entries invited to read their work at the on-line awards meeting.

We aim to provide the exposure that will stimulate interest in and further opportunities for all our entrants.
